Cole Kazdin is a writer, actress and TV news producer living in Los Angeles.

She is currently a producer for ABC Network News.  Previously, she produced for Good Morning America, winner of a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Morning Program three years in a row (2006-2008).

She has authored and starred in two one-woman plays, The Cole Kazdin Amnesia Project, and My Year of Porn, praised by The New York Times and produced in extended runs at The Brick and The Magnet Theater.

Her writing has been published on ABCNews.com, Salon.com, Smith, Yoga Journal, and the anthologies, Afterwords: Stories and Reports from 9/11 and Beyond, and The Best American Sex Writing 2004. Cole appears on VH-1’s All Access series. She has told stories on The Moth's Mainstage and performed improv and comedy all over the city, most notably with Gotham City Improv where she appeared in nearly ten thousand shows. She has toured nationally as a dancer and has worked as a character voice artist.

When Cole puts on her glasses, she becomes a newswoman. She has produced news and documentary television for A&E, Court TV and HBO Documentaries.  She recently spoke in a seminar series at Yale University about the news media, and she volunteers with Children’s Press Line.

Cole is a graduate of Northwestern University and Columbia's Graduate School of Journalism. Cole also knows kung fu, so watch out.
